Pricing:
Please note that there are two prices
listed for most products. The lower price is charged for full cases of the same
product number. The higher price is for mixed or partial cases. All prices and
terms and conditions are subject to change without notice however we rarely if
ever find a need to invoke this clause. We have made every effort to ensure
that all prices listed are accurate however errors do occur and therefore
Gourmet Depot will charge the correct price for all products. Clients will be
notified of any pricing errors and will have to opportunity to adjust their
orders accordingly. Prices are wholesale and GST/HST is extra where applicable.
Case Packs:
As a wholesaler, items are shipped in full
case quantities only. Most items can be assorted to make up full case
quantities at the mixed case price. Should you wish to purchase partial cases
of any products we accept no responsibility for broken or damaged product. Our
Cash & Carry facilities are ideal for those requiring less than case
quantities.
Samples:
Samples will be provided at case lot
pricing however Gourmet Depot assumes no responsibility for damaged or broken
products as these will be shipped in less than case quantities.
Chocolate:
Gourmet Depot does not normally ship
chocolate products during the summer months (June - September) due to warm
weather temperatures and the resulting risk to product integrity. We will ship
these products upon client approval to ship by a refrigerated carrier or with
the understanding that Gourmet Depot assumes no responsibility for melted
items.
Damages/Shortages:
All damages/shortages must be reported
within 48 hours of receipt of your order. Adjustments will only be made within
7 days of order receipt. Please keep all damaged product for verification
purposes and possible return to manufacturer.
Returns:
No returns will be accepted without prior
management authorization. We will arrange for pick up of all products shipped
in error. All other authorized returns must be returned to our warehouse
prepaid. Due to the sensitivity & nature of food products we do not accept
returns. A 20% restocking fee will be applied to authorized non-food items
returned with 7 days of receipt.
Backorders:
Backorders with a value less than our
minimum order of $50.00 will be automatically cancelled.
Substitutions:
In the event we experience a temporary
out-of-stock situation we will contact you to recommend suitable substitutions.
No products will be subbed without consultation and agreement.
Payment Terms:
Net 30-Day terms are available upon
approval for clients that spend in excess of $10,000 annually with Gourmet
Depot. After the first 3 purchases which must be prepaid by Visa, MasterCard,
Company Cheque or Interac you may request a credit application. Please allow
2-3 weeks for processing of all credit applications. Amounts over your assigned
credit limit must be prepaid by Visa or MasterCard.
Overdue Accounts are charged 2% per month
Finance Charges and may result in loss of credit privileges. Should you chose
to pay your account with a credit card after the 30 day period you will be
charged an additional 3% to cover our financing charges.
A $25.00 charge will be applied to all NSF
cheques
Due to seasonal time restraints, Credit
Applications are not processed between October and December.
Shipping:
All shipments are F.O.B. Gourmet Depot
Mississauga. Due to our shipping volume, Gourmet depot has negotiated
significantly discounted freight rates with numerous carriers. These savings
are passed on to our client's thereby keeping freight costs to a minimum.
Minimum Freight Charge is $8.00 per shipment.
